Kate E Williams

The Early Childhood Researcher is Dr Kate E Williams from the School of Early Childhood, Queensland University of Technology.

Kate’s research focusses on children’s development of self-regulation and the parenting, educational, and intervention contexts that support such, along with the developmental and educational outcomes associated with children’s self-regulatory functioning. She also loves intervention design and evaluation and maintains her registration as a Music Therapist, and her passion for music as a tool in parenting and early childhood.

Kate is also a fan of open data and open research and translating research findings to those at the coal face – parents and early childhood educators. Hence the blog!
